How close can one get?

DD’s move into Butler went off smoothly. Biggest problem was having to wait twice in the Fedex line because all boxes were not together. Best thing we did was get all our boxes from Fedex, BBB and Target on Friday. Allowed us to have a loaded car for one drop off in front of Butler. Fedex line was really long on Saturday and it was hot, hot, hot. Glad to have avoided that.

I did not realize they allowed people to start getting things from FedEx on Friday! Good to know for advising folks in the future, as well as ourselves.

I think we will be talking about that heat for a while. Sunday was actually even worse.

Since Friday was move in day for transfer students, the Fedex trucks were there for box pickup. It seemed very unorganized on Friday. Fedex person said they didnt think so many kids would come on Friday so they were not prepared. When DD went the first time they had 3 out of 4 boxes in the truck. They pointed to a huge pile on the grass saying that they hadnt been loaded onto the trucks yet and to come back later. Seemed to be a common answer throughout the day. When it began to thunderstorm I was worried about that huge mountain of boxes on the grass. Luckily when we went back again, her box was found safe and dry. I guess Fallenchemists D wasnt as lucky. :frowning: Saturday they had more signage and what appeared to be more organization but huge long lines in the blazing sun.
