<p>I am not sure that the shadow grades are even kept in the records. From what I’ve heard, it is a student’s responsibility to make a copy of the grades (they are sent to the students via e-mail or regular mail) and keep them for the future reference, in case grad schools want to see them. I think some med schools do require those grades.</p>
