How difficult is it to get accepted for a Masters or PhD in Comp Science @ MIT?

To get into mit,u need a gpa of 3.0/4.0 although most applicants are 3.5 and above, and bcos it is very competitive u need to do some research work and if possible publish with ur professor.the admission committee are looking for someone who cancope with d rigors of research and d only way to judge this is by previous research work.also take lots of classes(basic and advanced) related to ur field of interest and mention all these in ur statement of purpose.also very important are ur recommendation letters.try to get strong recommendation letters from professors that u av done some research work with.a strong reco letter does not talk about how u got all A’s in the professors course, rather it talks about how much u were interested and contributed to research work and how u would be a valuable material at mit’s grad program.if u do all that with an excellent statement of purpose, I believe u should get in,and they don’t require the gre.try applying to other schools like berkeley stanford carnegiemellon cornell gatech uiuc texas. etc and best of luck
