<p>Yes a lot of freshman do change their minds after the heavy workload…coughORGANICCHEMISTRYcough, but you still have to do a lot of work to get into the pre-medical program if you are not accepted to it initially. There are certain requirements you must meet in order to be admitted to the pre-medical program later on at Holy Cross. For example, you have to have a certain GPA 3.4 or up I believe.
So yes, tuftsguy71, you should take advantage of it. Holy Cross has a higher than average acceptance rate into medical school and their science programs, particularly biology, are rigorous and well-respected. Furthermore, because of the small size of the school, you have access to assistance from faculty, administration, and of course, fellow students whenever you need it. Holy Cross wants you to succeed AND have a good time. :)</p>
