Did everybody overlook the fact that OP sounds like a complete ■■■■■? LOL

^^maybe. Sounded more like a young person. Perhaps you’re right.

How do they get all that cash? My kids figured it out in lower school: “They go to the ATM.”

You can lease a BMW.
Read the Millionaire Next Door. Some wise person said: you can either have money or spend it, not both.

One way they do it…or at least attempt it could be gleaned from the song “I fought the law”.

Having marketable skills that you can use extremely well is invaluable and allows you more flexibility. A good education is an important part of it. Many very efficient people can have more flexibility in their schedules and appear to have a lot of non-work time, which may or may not be true.

I reiterate post #11 lol

Probably more rich women, but you might have to accept a lady a little older than you would normally prefer.

Kollegekid, it looks like a lot because your perspective is still skewed to your stage in life. I recently found my first checkbook from my first job twenty years ago. I would literally go to 20 dollars in my bank account sometimes. People gradually work their way into “more” but few people own their houses outright and most people buy things on credit and pay them off. You are just not seeing this part. There are PLENTY of adults who sem to have a lot who, I swear, spend quite a bit of time stressing about how to keep it.

When we were first married, we used a file cabinet as our dinner table and had two spare tires in our apartment living room so we didn’t have to sit on the floor! But we spent less than we earned, and saved the difference. Of course, back then the minimum wage actually was a meaningful wage. I don’t know if we could have saved money now the way we did then.

Too many serious responses… :D

“Too many serious responses”

Maybe because many of us know kids that really might talk exactly like this…of course they are probably all under 13 years old. Hey, there isn’t anything non-serious about a cat eating a rubber band, that could be hazardous. My dog eats earplugs. She will hunt throughout the house for earplugs, using her mouth to open up suitcase zippers. We have piles of poop covered earplugs in the yard.

This actually is quite a serious subject, and I wish I’d been advised about it by parents on this thread when I was young (and taken it). Of course, if one started a thread about, “How to become wealthy,” it would probably turn nasty pretty quick.

Well, busdriver, the fastest way is to marry…wisely.

When I got married, we moved and I had to quit my job. i told my new husband that I could take the money from my retirement account. He said to leave it where it was because we did not need it. Smart guy.

Everybody just drives around in BMWs and has huge houses and goes swimming in the pool all day. And they go to the gym and basically nobody works but where do they all get theyre money from?>>>>>>>>>>>

Where are you seeing this?
You need to get out more. ; )

I agree with some posters here. The fastest and best way to become wealthy is to marry your soul mate who happens to be wealthier and has more potential for income increase than you. In addition, spend less than you earn, have various buckets for your savings and realize that it is OKAY to purchase some items at Saks and the like and some items at Costco, Amazon or the dollar store.

BTW, it’s quite possible that some of those guys driving around in Beemers and Teslas may be in foreclosure and have huge piles of debt.

Watch TV enough and one might think the good life just falls in your lap with no effort at all…kinda like the the Kardashians.

I explained everything during my episode of “Snapped”.

QLM

Don’t get sick. Ever.

“where do they all get theyre money from?”
