I bet most students want to get good scores. They dont wanna cheat not because of they are so honest, but because they dont wanna have any trouble later. I guess most of the time other students in the room will notice if you cheat. That’s why people don’t cheat because other students will report it.

I definitely agree that most proctors are just lazy because they have to wake up early to go to school on Saturdays. And I don’t belive that the SAT and ACT and whatever test that you take it in 4 hours(and repeatedly as many times as you wish as long as you have $$) are the good measurements of students’ real abilities.

In our district, football players pay other students to take the test for them. All they need is a 600 total score for DivI NCAA I think. (math plus cr) No one in our urban testing center ever really looks at the ID’s. When I took my SAT I had to laugh at the people who showed up as star players that I know pretty well. SMH. Most of these football stars are functionally illiterate, they would have difficulty figuring out how to fill the circles for their names.
