<p>I had a friend who flatly refused to tell anybody where she was applying. This was partly because she didn’t finalize her list until very late in the school year, but even after that, she just wouldn’t say. I don’t think anyone knows the full list, even now. Sure, people pried for a little while, but she would just shake her head and grin at them. Then they quit bothering her. If you really don’t want to tell, pull a zip-your-lips-and-throw-away-the-key.</p>
