For selective schools, admissions expect you to be an expert in something before coming to college because you need to already be an expert to succeed in college. You can’t walk in with no experience. At UVA, even the pickleball club is selective
Are you expecting to get different comments than the ones you’ve received the previous times you’ve asked this question?
After a quick search, I see that the UVA pickleball club has over 700 members. I’d hardly call that selective.

–While some clubs are competitive, there are always clubs open to all. For example a friend’s kid did not get into a competitive business club but joined the (open to everyone) Habitat for Humanity club and ultimately became treasurer.
