I rarely watch TV, but if I’m on the treadmill in the morning I will put on a morning news show. I sometimes see MSNBC in the evening if H turns it on. Most of my news comes from 2 online newspaper subscriptions (WaPo and NYT) although I also get a copy of the WaPo delivered every day. Also I see a lot on social media, but consider the source.
I get push through notifications from the NYT so I generally wake up to a story. I then peruse the NYT although I often don’t give it as much time as I should. I get a couple news subscriptions, one business and one on the highlights of the day in the morning and afternoon. I listen to NPR and the local CBS radio station in the car until, as someone else said, I get too depressed and put on music. No TV news and I try to stay away from cable because I find it too biased (even when it’s my bias); I like my news as factual as possible. Having said that, the newsletter I get each afternoon, while I believe it to be factual, only reports on issues that speak to my personal bias.
A lot seems to pop up on cc before I see the news! I do turn on morning shows. (or pre-morning local news) when getting ready the morning. I also get some of those instant updates on my phone.

CNN.com is my starting off point for news. I will usually go there first for headlines and then other sources for more in depth news. I used to really like the TV version, but it’s too much for me now with every heading being “Breaking News”.
I love British news sources such as Guardian/BBC as they cover US news well and with less bias (not all the time though).
I don’t turn on the TV except to watch March Madness or Netflix.
I scroll thru my Apple News newsfeed on my phone. It’s…kinda awful. I keep telling myself to find something else.
I used to have a subscription to the NYTimes, but stopped it. I don’t miss it, which surprises me.
At the corporate office, my boss has the TV on, and it just gives me a yucky feeling. Murder and mayhem and agitation.
My primary source of news and current events are podcasts. I follow some political organizations on Instagram. There are some online sources I go to for further reading, such as Vox.
I have no idea what’s going on locally. There is still a “local” newspaper, a shell of its former self. I never read it in print or online.
