People always say “I could care less,” but doesn’t that mean you care? Shouldn’t it be “I couldN’T care less?”

“i could care less” - yeah it can mean that you care a lot</p>

<p>or</p>

<p>it could mean that you care so little that you can’t be bothered to care, hence I could care less.

• I could care less = You actually have some amount of care for something and have the ability to do so
• I couldn’t care less = The lowest of low; you have absolutely nothing to care for something</p>

<p>It’s not too difficult to understand the distinct difference, is it?</p>
