<p>U-Mish sounds like a cat name. </p>
<p>My good friend went there and I hanged out with two of his friends that also went there before; I’ve never heard them saying “U-Mish”.</p>
<p>Well, it doesn’t necessarily come up in casual conversion–I think the more common thing to hear is “Michigan” or “U-M” or “The U” or whatever. But when someone asks you what website to go do, then I hear it. Like, “Is that on a umich site?” Or “did you send it do his umich email address?”</p>
