How early is early?

If you need Merit Aid or scholarships and you’re interested in the Honor’s College, sign up to retake the ACT as soon as you can, because you need at least a 32 on your ACT to get into the Honor’s College (lnik: [Course Eligibility](http://www.honorscollege.pitt.edu/about/course-eligibility.html)) and therefore recieve aid from them.

I’d say that you’ll be okay applying no later than the end of October. But definitely improve your testing score.

Also note that the Honor’s College does not currently give out aid to students past entrance into freshman year. This means that if you don’t get in now (when you apply) but do later (say sophomore year) they won’t give you a scholarship for sophomore year onwards. They only give them to admitted freshman as they are admitted.
