Well, I got a ticket in Paramus NJ going 67 in a 50… and I was going slower than most around me (but had the out of state tag). I had just come off the NJ Turnpike, where most everyone drives pretty fast. They put us on this road where it went up and down faster than I could keep track.
I routinely drive over the speed limit, especially on highways. In neighborhoods I go much closer to the speed limit. Near me if you’re going 10 MPH over, you may be a road hazard.
Funny aside. I went with my son to court when he got a ticket. Someone said they’d never received a ticket in their life before this one. The just said “even in New Jersey?” I guess NJ is known for tickets?
