How fare my chances for Georgia Tech(GT), UGA, Emory, GSU, and Augusta University?

Actually, it’s the last 5 years.
All 5 students that applied last year were accepted and none of those were ED. I appreciate the fact that it doesn’t account for EC or rigor.
But to say Emory is a Reach and GT is Match based on what MDN2001 has presented above to me seems a bit inaccurate.
I would also look at Emory’s SAT average. As they allude to in their own press release the SAT score is “based on SAT scores and ACT equivalents.” This was before the new concordance table was released so those scores are skewed to the high side especially considering they had more ACT submits than SAT. (All from Emory’s CDS)
So they converted the 33-30 ACT to SAT scores from the old concordance table and averaged them with actual SAT scores. That 33 now is between a 1480 and 1450 and the 30 is 1380 - 1360 vs 1510 - 1490 and 1410 -1390 before. So at a minimum a 30 point difference on average.
This is no way a condemnation of Emory as a school, it’s a great school and in my daughter’s top 3. But they have misrepresented their data before…
