Lol, if that makes you feel your daughter has a Better chance at Emory… Fine. From what was presented here, Emory is a Reach for OP. Emory is known to have favorite schools throughout GA, due to familiarity. Those confounding factors cannot be assessed as we don’t have the data, and your Naviance data from your specific highschool does not suffice. What we do know is Emory’s instate acceptance rate is Lower than its OOS rate, and vise versa for Gtech. I can look at my Naviance
from my highschool in Gwinnett county GA and assure you that it easier to get into GT from my school.
Edit:Also, most Emory students submit the SAT instead of the ACT, so if Emory said a 1500 equivalent, then that didn’t change much regardless of concordance tables.
