<p>I don’t think any of those were regional. The university offers incremental scholarships in order to attract students they want to enroll. I only applied RD last year, so I can’t speak to the EA process, but I know for the RD round scholarships were offered with the letter of admission and also in the following weeks. And though I’m sure most students do not have these scholarships, I’ve been surprised by the amount of people I’ve come across who do (especially considering that the admissions process is rarely the subject of conversation). I have a 5k scholarship, for instance, and I’ll be the first to admit that my HS record was far from “amazing.” </p>
