Starting at altoona for the first 2 years of college. How good or bad is that? (2+2 plan)

If there are any current students in here please do post ur reviews as u r the best people who can help an international student like me to properly understand the various aspects.

Is altoona good in terms of business education, diversity and friendly people??

I thank to the people who will post their reviews… Please don’t just open the topic and read it. Do post ur reviews so that it can help me and anyone else choose the best option avaliable.

Thank you everyone

I’m not an altoona student - but you won’t be getting your business education from Altoona. You’ll get all of that mainly during your second two years at University Park. You’ll be mostly taking your gen-eds that are pretty standard across the board at whatever school you’d go to. As far as diversity goes, it’s 81% in state students, and 81% white people. So if you don’t like white people, you probably shouldn’t go there. University Park is about the same, just with a bit more out of state students.

Edit: since I can’t post the link, google penn state altoona student reviews and you should get some from students there.

I have already deposited my enrollment fee and I therefore I have already secured a place at the campus. So I m least worried abt housing.

Thank u ectremepower for the amazing links. I read and I believe 6/10 consider altoona a great or good choice while others don’t.

As for diversity, it’s not that I don’t like white people… I like em… I m Jst worried about how friendly they would be.

Altoona sounds good to me. Ultimately it’s the degree u get from the penn state.

These reviews helped me a lot. More aee welcomed.
