You had an awareness of the majors in various CMU schools?
When I said write about math- that was addressing MCS-- why this made no sense was what my comment addressed.</p>
<p>Bottom line- admissions can read through intent - they’re not stupid.
The essay is factor is figuring out each applicant beyond the stats - which are a threshold for consideration. There are 7-8 applicants for every SCS spot there is – so why you ? That’s what you indicate in an essay.</p>
