How hard is it to get into UVA if you're from out of state?

<p>Compare with Cornell or Northwestern and some “lower” (I hate that phrase) Ivies. I have heard of a lot of UVA OOS students turning down some Ivy league schools (and other schools, like Northwestern) for UVA.</p>
