Hi there! I’m Swati, and I’m a counselor in the admission office. We understand that not everyone is able to interview, and so they are not required for your application. Not having interviewed does not negatively impact your application in any way. Unfortunately, we as admission counselors aren’t always able to travel to and offer interviews in every state where our applicants live. However, if you’re on our mailing list (http://admission.reed.edu/inform.taf), you will receive an e-mail any time that there are interviews or alumni interviews in your area. I do want to reiterate though, and if you aren’t able to interview, that is a-ok!

If you have any questions along the way about Reed, you should definitely get in contact with your region counselor, John Perkins (<a href=“Contact - Admission - Reed College”>Contact - Admission - Reed College). He is the first person who will read your application later this year.
