It’s not easy to get rich unless you’re born into it…that’s the way it’s always been and always will be, unless you want to eliminate capitalism and turn into a quasi-socialist state. Taking $$ from the wealth and redistributing it to the poor is socialism. I think the wealthy should pay the same % tax as everybody else, and in doing so they will contribute much more $$ than anybody else. I think it’s wrong to say that since you’re wealthy, and work hard, you should shoulder the burden of people who are not wealthy. It may be hard to become wealthy but I believe EVERYBODY can do it, provided you are willing to put in the immense amount of time/work that those who have worked their way up have done.

I think every company should have profit sharing for every employee- so that the benefits of the hard work- goes to those who are actually expending the effort instead of the stockholders and executives.

I agree emeraldkity…once you work “x” number of years you should get some sort of profit sharing…whether it be in stocks or bonuses etc.

Bush’s approval rate is climbing; it was at 28% last year. If we make more progress in Iraq, he’ll reach the mid 40s.
