How is Northeastern University for pre med?

There’s a good thread in the pre-med section about undergrad and getting into medical school, which is definitely a good thing to read when looking into undergrad.

I’m not pre-med, but a large majority of my friends and classmates are (I’m a neuroscience major). They seem to be happy with the course options here as well as the pre-med advising. Co-op is also a big advantage for pre-meds, they can look great on med applications.

Don’t be too concerned about whether a school is good at “getting graduates into medical school,” it’s largely dependent on the individual student, not the school. As far as science, NU is pretty good, I’ve been really happy with the quality of my science classes, and think the bio, biochem, and neuroscience majors are all pretty strong.
