I would say take the AP over the dual credit. A good score on the AP exam is MUCH more likely to transfer than a community college credit. If you really care about the credit and don’t plan on attending that CC, it’s probably in your best interest to do the AP exam.
AP Stats is not really a difficult class. It covers topics more in-depth than regular statistics and is more calculator-intensive. It is definitely manageable with your schedule and is considering a “lighter” AP course.
