How likely will I be to make it into Hillsdale?

“I’m actually great at destroying people’s self-confidence and reputations while being honest.”

“I view myself as one of a few thinkers rebelling against a country and a world of completely [sic] irrationality and idiocy. My goal in life is to change the entire structure.”

As to the first comment, all I can ask is why you might want to do this? I’m not sure these abilities fit the Hillsdale mission statement (did you read it?).

Now for the second, when you get to Hillsdale, of course you’ll take the course on the Constitution, take Western Heritage, take the Rhetoric and Great Books courses, all of which are required. Then you can tell me again which irrational and idiotic parts of society/government/high school you want to change.

As far as my “conformist pig” ideas, you will find very few people on this forum who are less conformist in their ideas about education. For example, we are long-time UNSCHOOLERS, not just homeschoolers, which hardly puts me in anyone’s idea of “conformist.” I’ll leave the pig statement to history.

I wish you success at Hillsdale or wherever else you wind up in higher education.
