<p>DonnaL, my D is a first year at Chicago now and got 6 elective credits for her 5’s in AP US and AP Lit. Your S will also be able to use the Spanish AP for either credit or placement (I can’t remember how that works, she didn’t take AP language). Our HS restricts what APs are offered to juniors and seniors. That being said, the district is starting to phase APs out in favor of faculty created upper level classes.</p>
