<p>Let’s see…our school offers:</p>
<p>Languages: Latin, French, Spanish, German
Science: Bio, Chem, Phys, Envi Sci
English: Lang, Lit
Math: Calc AB, Calc BC, Stats
History: USH, Gov, Euro
Other: Art</p>
<p>AP Gov
AP English Lit
AP Calc
AP Psych
sometimes APUSH, but there was never enough interest during my years</p>
<p>They just added Psych for next year, but I’ve graduated so I’ve taken all the APs they offered during that time.</p>
<p>English Language
Spanish Language
French Language
French Literature
Japanese Language
Calculus BC
Biology
Physics
Chemistry (first year next year =-O)
Human Geography
European History
US History</p>
<p>12 total. It would have been 13 if they didn’t take out AP English Literature. :(</p>
<p>My school offers 7.</p>
<p>English Lang (Passage: 50% which is high)
Enlgish Lit (Also about 50%, high)
Bio (99% passed last year)
Spanish (80% passed)
History (Again, 50% high)
Gov (Low passage)
Calculus -don’t know which one- (everyone fails)</p>
<p>Just out of simple curiosity…</p>
<p>Does anyone happen to know the national average of how many AP’s are offered per high school?</p>
<p>My school offers:
French Lang(but no one ever takes it & the French teacher just retired…)
Spanish Lang
Latin
English Language
English Lit
Government
Microeconomics
Statistics
Calculus AB
US History
Physics B
European History (just started offering it this year)
Chemistry–but it’s independent study</p>
<p>So, that’s 13 which is, I guess, pretty good for a small public school. </p>
<p>However, many of these classes are pretty terrible (particularly microecon, spanish, euro, stats and latin). APUSH, government, and calculus are really great though.</p>
<p>AP Eng Lang
AP Eng Lit
AP Calc (not sure AB or BC)
AP Stats
AP Bio
AP Chem
AP Physics
AP USH
AP World</p>
<p>9 isn’t too bad for a school with <1200 students…
The only thing is with the AP Sciences. In order to be eligible, you must take that course as an Honors/Adv. Course first. So I can’t just take AP Physics without taking Physics Adv. first. It’s really frustrating.</p>
