That’s mostly right, although there is always a possibility the OP will get into a situation where one of these colleges wants to see another round of grades.
But mostly I am aware that others might sometimes read these threads when not precisely in the OP’s situation, or pass on things they read to such others in other threads, or so on.
Well, if they want to see first semester (and not all do), they’re not going to want to see 2nd semester.
He doesn’t have a D - but two Bs.
They’ll want to see second semester only from the POV of every kid - validating graduation, etc.
But the admission decision will be based on either 6 or 7 semester grades. Not the 8th.
I’ll second this. There is no pass given because the subject isn’t related to potential major, because it’s in a foreign language, because it’s not a core course, because it’s an AP, because the teacher is mean, because it’s taught during zero period, etc. In each of those cases, someone’s getting an A.
Whether the B’s matter is the initial question. And it’s still a moot question, since it’s done and dusted at this point.
