How much does being hispanic help (or hurt)?

<p>I have never head that “being hispanic is becoming the “new” asian”. The numbers sadly are not where they should be for Hispanics high school graduates. For example California has the highest percentage of Latinos in high school at 51% yet only about 20% of California Latino high school graduates attend a 4-year college. <a href=“http://www.ncsl.org/documents/educ/trendsinlatinosuccess.pdf[/url]”>http://www.ncsl.org/documents/educ/trendsinlatinosuccess.pdf&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
