I’m seriously transferring to USC adnd am planning on majoring in anthropology, but I would like how much my high school record will factor into the admissions. Although the transfer admission requirements are very vague, I’m guessing the more credit hours you earn in college, the less your high school record matter and vice versa.

Basically I was a huge slacker/rebel in high school and I did poorly (lots of C’s, D’s, and F’s) up until junior year. Simply put, I didn’t give a damn in high school. But after sophomore year i picked it up BIG TIME and i started getting on the High Honor roll every semester. Fast forward to today, I’m a completely different person and more mature, emotionally and academically. I’ve so far have completed over 30 credit hours in community college and have a 3.75 GPA and i am in phi theta kappa. I am now in the process of deciding where I want to finish my degree and I have decided on USC as my first option. I’m just really scared that my high school records are gonna come back to haunt me.

So what are my chances of being admitted as a transfer student?

Here are some personal facts that might factor into my application
High school GPA-2.0?
College GPA-3.7
Hispanic male
Out-of-State applicant
Member of Phi Theta Kappa honor society
