If you picked a subject where you can get a good paying job, it could pay off in about 20 or so years in picking of that loan, but then you’d probably have similar prospects with such a degree from anywhere without having that loan gorilla on your back. No, it’s not worth it. If your parents have the money and can afford to give to you as a gift, wonderful. Borrowing it? No.</p>
