Thanks for the data on Swarthmore. This is one of the problems with collegeboard’s data as it only lists those majors which have a 5% representation. They list Engineering and Computer Science separately and, as you numbers show, neither had a 5% level in the latest year. </p>
<p>Ideally, in making these comparisons, one would use the CDS for each school as it provides the level of detail that you provide for Swarthmore, but unfortunately too many schools don’t publish a CDS and thus apples-to-apples comparisons are only possible using centralized sources such as collegeboard.</p>
