How reliable is DoDMERB?

I don’t think finding out via DODMERB is any less deserving.

Perhaps it’s not as “prestigious” as getting a call from Senator Blahblah, but “prestige” is not the goal.

Yes, it’s different from how it was done in the past, but different is not always worse, nor is it always better.

It’s just different.

I can’t really see what difference it makes.

Maybe it does to the parents, who are imagining a 21-Gun Salute and Trumpet Voluntary to accompany the mailman, but I don’t think it matters much to the candidates. Maybe the “rejected” candidate would want to delay the notification, but I think that an “accepted” candidate would want to know as soon as possible.

The outcome is the same either way, and IMO “sooner” is better than “later.”
