It is a bit interesting, but my worry is this:
I got into learning about exercise science because I love training, I love getting stronger, I want to be the best at my sport.
I think I would like coaching, and maybe sports med, because they are ways I can exercise the knowledge I’ve gotten in something related to what got me interested in all this anyway: training. Especially coaching because I’d get to contribute to my specific sport’s community and because I’ve always loved teaching.
I fear that I’d go into physical therapy wanting to make use of the knowledge and skills I’ve honed over the past few years, but end up bored because it’s too far from why I was interested in it in the first place.
What do you want out of college then?
Have you considered kinesiology?
