How Smart Is Berkeley???

Thanks RedTape, you couldn’t have put it more eloquently, intelligence really isn’t what most students perceive it to be - scores on a test, or GPA reports. It’s much more combinational, and to say social cognition and emotional processing aren’t a part of it, would be naive. Intelligence really isn’t something static, and actually can be quite malleable since this is the way our brains are built and they retain this plasticity throughout life. I would agree that it really is dependent on individual’s level of devotion, willingness to achieve, and personal experience. I wish more students would quit comparing peoples’ level of intelligence so rashly, and be a little more considerate.
