attendance: You get points (I think 3%) off your grade for every unexcused absence not counting anything else you may have missed (you get zeros on assignments you missed). Parents call out to excuse you.

homework: Depends on the teacher, some check it, some (often AP teachers) don’t, usually you can turn it in late for half credit or something, bigger assignments usually lose a full letter grade for every day that they’re late.

staying on school grounds: We have totally open campus after first semester freshman year, you’re parents, GC, dean, etc. sign a form once and you can go wherever you want as long as you aren’t getting into trouble or skipping class.

coming late to class: 3 tardies = one unexcused absence which takes off points and some teachers have harsher penalties.

walking in the halls during class (for example if going to the restrooms): They don’t care, as long as you’re not disruptive you can be wherever you want.
