<p>attendance: no one really cares. it doesn’t affect your grades and no one asks any questions about unexcused absences. i think i’ve missed somewhere around 25 “half-days” (how my school counts absences) this year.</p>
<p>homework: just copy it and its not a big deal. most teachers grade it though.</p>
<p>staying on school grounds: go where you want, when you want if you’re an upperclassman. underclassmen are supposed to stay on campus, but not many do.</p>
<p>coming late to class: depends on the teacher, but most dont really care/wont say anything about it.</p>
<p>walking in the halls during class: no one cares. in fact, ive noticed that there seem to be more seniors in the hall (our school has 1500 kids but its built so you can basically see anywhere else in the building from one spot) during class than at any other time of day. and there are definitely more people in the halls during class than during lunch (when everyone leaves campus).</p>
<p>dress code: none. at all.</p>
<p>i go to school on the west coast. so that’s how it is.</p>
