There is a great story on line (I’ll have to look for it) about how someone scammed a scammer- got them to send handmade artwork form Nigeria to the US, Its hysterical!!

“Are the stuff still available?” could be the type of grammar used by drug dealers and other members of the criminal element who might actually have the money to buy a $60K Porsche.
My H still uses CL, but I make him conduct all transactions in the parking lot of our local police station. If someone isn’t willing to do business in that location, then they are not likely to be someone I would like to do business with.
My niece used to do a lot on CL. She had one customer knock timidly on her door and ask " Is this a bad time? I see a police car out front." Her DH is a police officer, so the vehicle is often out front. I don’t know if she had any customers drive on by when they saw the car, but then again, she was selling mostly used kid’s clothes and toys. I guess one could say that her driveway is an auxiliary police parking lot. ?
