<p>Well, just remember that it’s 1-2 paragraphs. I wrote about 5 paragraphs when I started a week ago and had to re-write it.<br>
My advice - since I’m in the same boat as you are in - is to try to write about something in a very clear way. I don’t think listing a bunch of books, albums, etc. will be a good idea unless it’s 2 or 3 different things in each paragraph.
I focused on one thing - music. A specific genre of music has changed my life and I wrote about how and what has happened to me because of music.
Just make sure that whatever you write has passion and voice.<br>
Since I kind of helped you, do you have any ideas how to add voice into the first essay? The people (parents) who’ve read it so far have all told me that it has none of the passion that I have when I talk to them about going to the UChicago.</p>
