How to find referenced posts

Recently read @Lindagaf post on “average excellent” http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/parents-forum/1878059-truthful-advice-about-getting-into-top-colleges-for-your-average-excellent-student-p1.html and in it was reference two other posts one to see the colleges her D applied to and one to see where she was accepted but I can see how to find those posts, can you help?

She references the specific post numbers in the thread that she references. Follow the link to that thread, then scroll forward and backward through it to find the posts with those numbers. If you don’t want to have to scroll through every single page of the thread, just estimate that each page has about ten posts to help you get more or less where you need to be.

@happymomof1 I think each page has 15 posts…

Hi @SPTmom , so I linked the original thread in the opening post of the “average excellent” thread. She was going to go to Kenyon, but in fact, got off the WL at another college, and is nearly done with her sophomore year. The average excellent thread is closed, but the “cool kids” thread is still open, and has updates on it. If you want to read the “fun” parts, start reading on this page:-) http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/college-search-selection/1658573-where-do-the-cool-kids-go-to-college-p22.html

thanks so much!
