@skieurope ok, sure I may be harsh but these types of questions are the worst. I mean, what makes you think you will be able to edit essays after they are submitted? Like my goodness everyone makes typos but if you’re missing whole words then that’s your problem. And, like I said, it’s no big deal. You’ll be fine, just stop thinking about it and move on. Again, if you are differed/rejected in December it won’t be because of a couple of typos!!
And yeah, I did find one typo in my common app essay–meant to say “over time,” said “overtime.” Whoops. But my common app essay was exactly 650 words so I fixed it for future applications but had to delete a word. Just laugh it off! I’m not obsessing over this typo because it’s OK. Admissions realizes you’re human and you might gloss over typos when you proofread. Heck, I had multiple people read this essay and no one caught that mistake. Repeat after me: I’ll be fine.
Go watch a movie, read a book, do homework. The deed is done. Forget about Brown until December 15.
