There are many schools with good psychology undergrad programs. If you plan to go on to grad school, the APA website will give you lists of excellent APA approved Ph.D programs.

Yes, that was my point as well earlier. It’s a stretch, IMO, to believe the rankings do much to narrow down which programs to consider or that they list all the programs a student should consider.

Just to start with, the OP has not said whether her D is interested in a psych major because (to name a few) she wants to pursue counseling, or research, or psych interests her as part of her main goal of earning a liberal-arts degree. Is any “psych programs ranked” list going to identify the best schools for these disparate goals?
