Not if you don’t cover the entire book over it. Cover just cover of the book. I mean, it’d take a talented bird to crap on the side of your book from above.

Yeah, most used books are really good. Yesterday a book arrived that was listed in Like New condition and actually it was completely new. Flawless. Gorgeous. It made that cracking sound when I opened it. Mmm, and the paper smelled and felt so smooth. (I do not have a book fetish).

A lot of the books I’ve bought were really cheap and in great condition, because most of them were from warehouses and bookstores that wanted to get rid of them (hence the new conditions). There are also some sellers that keep their books in fantastic condition. Make sure to read the descriptions throughly though. This book was just an exception.

For buying options, you should check out half.com and amazon.com. amazon tends to have slightly higher prices because of a larger volume of users.

hm I’m wondering if someone spilled perfume on this book or if it came from its surroundings. I just smelled the inside of the envelope and it smells like the book when I first opened it.
