I think you are going to be just fine. Read the 3.0-3.3 thread, and you’ll find lots of great schools accepting students. You may find also that, if medication works for you, both your grades and SAT scores will go up. My niece’s score went up 130 points for CR just because she could focus better on the test once her medication was optimized. For math it was a 30 point gain. If you can get your overall score at 1900 and your CR/M score at 1300 a lot of schools will open up for you. University of Arizona has the Eller school of business and the SALT program, which may be a great support for you. At a 1300, U of A also guarantees a $12k merit scholarship renewable yearly–and for everyone, they lock tuition for 4 years, which is great for out of state students. Also, the “colleges that change lives” are another place to look, if you want a smaller school–my neice has been accepted EA to the two that she applied to. My neice wrote an essay about her ADHD as the second essay for the common app and the UC’s app (she’s in-state). It described how medication helped her a lot, and how she also found a lot of work arounds to studying and getting her work done–like singing what she needed to memorize. It was a success story. She’s had a very positive response from schools, some of which will consider lower grades with that essay, including the UC’s-- Berkeley reached out for more information from her, since they have a special support program for ADHD/LD kids. Good luck and stay positive!
