<p>Do not worry about flip flops or denim or even try to dress up. We do not care, AT ALL. When most of us are on leave we dress casually and wear tank tops and skirts and jeans. Even on the yard when we’re allowed. It won’t bring any undue attention to your friend because no one pays attention to them outside of the hall. If an upperclass sees y’all together he would probably just make a joke about y’all being together or something, it wouldn’t be a big deal.
I second sending food and letters, but the letters might be more appreciated by girl mids, I dunno about that.
Have fun at all the dances and stuff, make him take you, they’re great places to meet guys, because they seem to always want to dance with anyone who’s not in uniform.</p>
