How to improve High School English skills?

<p>Reading helps, I suppose. You’ll get a good vocabulary and have a better sense of what good writing sounds like [basically, the language of well-written books trickles into your own writing, if you read enough]. </p>

<p>You would consider first how the imagery was different, and only once you’d arrived at that answer could you answer the larger questions of this particular essay question. Basically, a good way to tackle this type of writing is to map out what you need to figure out before you can answer the question. </p>

<p>So yeah, sit and think, I know that’s some really original, sage advice :P</p>
