@“Jolynne Smyth” @Charlie2772 i agree with you both. There is nothing wrong with casting a wide net because we know from reading here on CC that there are no guarantees. Nothing is a sure thing. You can have testing scores of 1600/36/4.0, 20 APs, play 3 instruments with proficiency, play hockey/basketball/football and still get rejections. One poster says that not enough research was done and another says you over did it. You can’t win. My DD applied to 17 schools, visited 18 and yes, it was daunting but we have no regrets. At the end of the day, no matter what happens you will never have to feel like you didn’t do enough. Yet there is security in having something secured that is a good fit.
