How to toke in peace in the dorms?

I know 3 kids that were kicked out of the dorms for smoking. They subsequently did not return to UMD. Why? Because Mom and Dad said BS I am not paying for an apt because you were that stupid. One of the kids lives across the street from us. His folks own an expensive home and could easily afford to get them an apt. Another’s father was a cardiac surgeon, the final one owned his own business that he sold at the age of 50 to retire permanently. They were all OOS kids (NJ, VA and Tenn), so commuting was not an option.

Finally, there are lurkers on this site from resnet. I know that because when I called UMD for a question, they jokingly said, the link is already there on cc on how to get in the back way.

You might think it is anomynous to be on these boards, but by just hitting on the blue link of your name, and reading other posts anyone can start to put 2 and 2 together to start whittling down who you actually are. The more posts you make the more clearer it becomes on who you are. Use me as an example, resnet, could easily figure out who our DS is, because there aren’t too many AFROTC students that are on merit for govt and politics scholars, class of 12, lived in Centreville, going into New Leonardtown and from VA. Heck I have even said he lived on the 7th floor. FYI your umd profile shows your dorm assignments, roommates, credits, basically it looks almost like a transcript, so that is how they can also find you through the computer sytem.

All you need is one person, maybe someone who is an RA, to say rut ro there is a kid intending to break the rules that is living in my dorm so I will give them a heads up.

Now for the truth there will be idiots who do smoke, if you are unfortunate enough to be roomed with an idiot, leave the room, and make sure you tell them that they never light up in front of you. I didn’t inhale will still put you in jeopardy. At the end of the day, if our DS stayed in a room, but didn’t inhale and they got busted, without a doubt that would be the last semester he attended there on my dime!

You need to grow up. This kind of reminds me of Ricky Williams who said he would rather smoke pot than play for the dolphins. You are placing the importance of pot over your college career.
