<p>To answer a few things that have come up:</p>

<li><p>We don’t hate Cal much. The Cal-bashing is largely in jest, and we know it. I’m told they hate us more, but I have yet to see that firsthand (maybe next year when I go to Big Game in Berkeley). We really do hate U$C.</p></li>
<li><p>Fountain hopping is perfectly acceptable year-round, weather permitting. In the spring, the Band tends to have a swim-in-the-Claw-and-hang-out time at least once a week (I think it’s three times a week this year).</p></li>
<li><p>My experience was that when I first arrived, there were a lot of annoying preppy kids. However, by the end of fall quarter, almost all had dropped the facade and become reasonably normal people. I wouldn’t worry about the preppiness if I were you.</p></li>
