oh ok, so now you are going at it about me attending community college. Did you know that over 40% of UCLA’s undergrad’s are transfer students? And out of those 40%, over 75% are from cc? You call me arrogant, then I see no reason why I shouldn’t call you just as arrogant. You look down on community college students, and seems to have so much pride on the fact that you got into UCLA right out of high school. Oh yeah, and you are so humble.

The reason why I’m not considering Anderson is NOT because it sucks or anything. It’s because it has less opportunity to be recruited by the firm of my dream. Even if Anderson ranks lower than Wharton, if McKinsey was to recruit there just as much as they do in Wharton, then sure, I would infact consider Anderson. But that’s not the case here. I know that McKinsey is the top class Business Consulting firm and it’s extremely hard to get a job there, and that they recruit from top ranking schools, the ultimately best of the best.

And let me capitalize this for you: UCLA IS A VERY GOOD SCHOOL. IT’S NATIONALY RECOGNIZED ELITE CLASS SCHOOL, AND IT’D BE AN HONOR TO BE ACCEPTED THERE. HOWEVER, in my point of view, I do not see it as the same league as Harvard or Wharton or Yale, or Stanford. And infact, many firms do not view it as the same league as the Ivy. Yes, I agree UCLA is one of the best schools in the nation. Yes I agree that Anderson is one of the top 10 business school in the nation. And yes, I agree that Anderson is a VERY prestigious school.

Here’s something you are mistaken:

JUST BECAUSE I SAID UCLA IS NOT THE ELITE AMONG THE ELITE DOESNT MEAN I SAID UCLA IS A BAD SCHOOL.

But really, ask ANYONE who doesnt go to UCLA or any of the Ivies. “Which do you consider a more elite class school: Harvard or UCLA? or UPenn or UCLA?” Majority of them will answer “Harvard” and “UPenn”. But does that mean UCLA suck? You don’t get it.

Why do you view everything as either Black or White? Just because I said one’s more elite than others doesnt mean I said one’s a cheap poor-quality school. Get that fact straight.
