<p>Yes, UCLA isn’t Harvard, Princeton, or Yale. But guess what? Neither are Brown, Dartmouth, or Cornell in the eyes of many people. The whole “Ivy” label is extremely loaded and oftentimes disingenuous when used to make comparisons. Stanford isn’t an “Ivy,” yet I would put it up against any one of them any day of the week. </p>
<p>It’s clear that UCLA has a hard time keeping up with Harvard in a variety of areas… especially undergrad. However, the resources are there. So quit worrying that McKinsey doesn’t have a recruiting stiffy for UCLA and get a job at another top firm. Then get picked up by McKinsey later.</p>
